1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SubNix ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We built SubNix with a strict "Privacy by Design" philosophy. Our core principle is simple: your financial data belongs to you, and we do not want it on our servers.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

To ensure your maximum privacy and security, SubNix expressly does NOT collect, transmit, or store:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number.
  • Your bank account details, credit/debit card numbers, or financial credentials.
  • The names, amounts, or billing cycles of the subscriptions you track in the App.
  • Any personally identifiable information (PII).

3. Local Storage and Data Ownership

All data you enter into SubNix (including subscription details, costs, and dates) is stored locally on your device.

  • Your Responsibility: Because your data is stored solely on your device, you are entirely responsible for its security and backup. If you lose your device, delete the App, or experience hardware failure, your data will be lost. We cannot recover it for you, as we never had it in the first place.
  • Cloud Backups: If you utilize native device backups (e.g., Apple iCloud or Google Drive), your App data may be included in those backups according to the privacy policies of Apple or Google.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

While we do not collect personal data, the App relies on certain third-party services to function effectively:

  • Payment Processing: If you purchase a Premium subscription, all transactions are securely processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not have access to your payment information. Your purchases are subject to the privacy policies of Apple or Google.
  • Anonymous Analytics and Crash Reporting: We may use basic, anonymized analytics tools (provided by Apple or Google) to understand general App usage (e.g., daily active users) and receive automated crash reports. This data is strictly anonymous, contains no personal or financial information, and is used solely to improve App stability and performance.

5. Push Notifications

SubNix uses local push notifications to remind you of upcoming subscription renewals. These notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely within your device's operating system. No notification content or scheduling data is transmitted to or processed by our servers.

6. User Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Global Privacy Laws)

Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, we cannot export, modify, or delete your data remotely. You have absolute control over your data directly within the App. You can exercise your "Right to be Forgotten" simply by deleting the App from your device, which will permanently erase all local SubNix data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
