Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SubNix application ("App") and any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Nature of the Service (Important Disclaimer)

SubNix is strictly a personal finance tracking and informational tool.

  • No Bank Access: We do not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, or third-party subscription providers.
  • Manual Management: SubNix DOES NOT and CANNOT automatically cancel, pause, modify, or manage your third-party subscriptions (e.g., Netflix, Spotify, gym memberships).
  • User Input: All data within the App is manually entered by you. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the dates, amounts, or terms of any third-party subscriptions you track.

3. Assumption of Financial Risk and Release of Liability

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for managing your actual subscriptions and financial accounts.

  • No Financial Liability: Under no circumstances shall SubNix, its developers, or its affiliates be held liable for any financial losses, unwanted subscription renewals, overdraft fees, bank charges, or damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
  • Your Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to cancel any unwanted third-party subscriptions directly with the respective service provider prior to their renewal dates.

4. Push Notifications and Device Limitations

SubNix utilizes local push notifications to remind you of upcoming billing dates.

  • Delivery is Not Guaranteed: You explicitly acknowledge that the delivery of these notifications is highly dependent on your device’s operating system, battery optimization settings, and current state (e.g., powered off, Do Not Disturb mode).
  • OEM Restrictions: Certain Android manufacturers (including, but not limited to, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Huawei) aggressively terminate background processes. SubNix is not responsible if a reminder fails to trigger due to these system-level restrictions. Missed notifications do not constitute a failure of our Service and do not entitle you to any refunds or compensation for resulting unwanted subscription renewals.

5. Premium Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

SubNix offers premium features ("Premium") through auto-renewing subscriptions.

  • Third-Party Billing: All payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store). SubNix does not handle your payment information.
  • Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: You must manage your Premium subscription and turn off auto-renewal directly in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Because payments are processed by Apple and Google, SubNix cannot issue direct refunds. All refund requests must be submitted to the respective app store and are subject to their policies.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBNIX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ABSOLUTELY SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SUBNIX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SUBNIX EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SUBNIX IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

8. Third-Party Offers and Affiliate Links

SubNix may feature promotional codes, discounts, or links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the functionality, validity, or content of these third-party offers. Using these links is at your own risk. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
